2. EQ-5D-Y–5L Transitions in Youth,
Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy’s V-HTA Lab, funded by an EuroQol Research Foundation grant (Project 2599-RA), is developing and validating a Vietnamese version of the EQ-5D-Y-5L for children and adolescents aged 8–19. The study compares EQ-5D-Y-3L, EQ-5D-Y-5L and EQ-5D-5L across school and clinical cohorts in Hue, with a focus on how responses and scores shift when adolescents transition from youth to adult instruments. Running from 2027 to 2028, the project will contribute a validated instrument and a pseudonymised dataset to the EuroQol SAVED Archive.
